Spin is a speculation on how a more socially cohesive society can be formulated. How can strangers be linked in order to make way for a more harmonious society? A temporary installation is proposed for the public realm. Inspired by music’s ability to connect people and transcend cultural boundaries it is a place where a sense of belonging can be felt and discoveries made. Performing as an entrance into the local culture passers-by are invited to sit, rest and discover the musical culture of the local area.
